GLOSSARY-UNIT 4

-Toll: a fee demanded by an authority for some rights or privilege, as for driving along a road.
-Cell: the most basic unit of structure of an organism.
-Look down to a person/ Look up to a person.
-Unknown: not within the range of knowledge, unfamiliar.
-Give him a lift.
-Run his eyes.
-Give up: surrender.
-Screw: nail-like metal fastener, having a thin end with a spiral groove and a head with a slot.
-Roof: the outside, upper covering of a building.
-You won't be to any use.
-Naughty: disobedient, mischivous.
-Fit to drink.
-Dial: a plate or disk on a clock or watch, containing markings upon which the time of day is indicated by hands or pointers.
-Ill: sick, unwell of poor health.
-Pain: physical suffering, grat discomfort.
-Get fired.
-To earn a lot of money.
-Run away: to flee, with no intent to return.
-Busy: actively working on something.
-Apologize: to offer an apology or excuse for some fault, insult, failure or injury.
-Quickness: speed.
:-Sneeze: to produce air on breath suddenly, forcibly, and loudly through the nose and mouth by involuntary action.
-Get into trouble.

LOOK UP.
-Lonely: having or suffering from a depressing feeling caused by being alone, lonesome.
-Isolation: to set or place apart, separate so as to be alone.
-Insane: mentalyy unsound, mad.
-Roam:  to travel without purpose, wander.
-To graze up my knees.
-The sooner, the better!
-Alone: separate, apart by oneself.
-Learn to coexist: learnlo live with other people.
-Graze: to scrape the skin from.
-Steeple: a tower having an ornamental top in the shape of a spire, built on a church, public bulding, etc.
